Foam production and curing

The WellFlon PTFE coating fabric is an effective processing aid for foam production and curing. It facilitates the transportation of materials through high temperatures, thereby preventing adhesion to the polymer material during the curing process. The utilisation of PTFE-coated cloth and belt is permissible under conditions of continuous operation at temperatures not exceeding 260°C (500°F). For a limited time, the temperature may be increased to 300°C (572°F), although this should be considered with caution.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composite

Carbon fibre reinforced composite has been shown to exhibit superior strength when compared with steel, while also being significantly more lightweight and flexible. In the processing of carbon fibre-reinforced composite, Teflon coating fabric will be utilised in either the form of a conveyor belt or a release sheet. Alternatively, the material can be shaped into the form of the product itself (for example, carbon fibre hockey sticks), thereby functioning as a release fabric.

Rubber Casting and Curing

The utilisation of a Flon PTFE-coated belt is imperative for the transportation of rubber from the casting and curing to the cooling process. This apparatus offers superior release properties and enduring performance. The surface of the PTFE belt can be designed to either a smooth or textured finish, depending on the anticipated surface roughness of the end product. The surface is capable of being adjusted to meet specific requirements.
