Heat-Sealed Packaging
WellFlon PTFE belting is used as a conveyor belt to prevent polyethylene film from sticking to the surface. Our belts are durable, offer a quick replacement system and are easy to use. Our range of belts for food packaging and sealing includes options that are both tear-resistant and porous, making them ideal for use in flexible packaging.
Heat-Shrink Packaging
The PTFE mesh belt is used to convey material through the heating tunnel. The thin plastic is shrunk to conform to the contours of the package. The silicone-coated fabric is installed at both ends of the oven to maximise heat retention.
Plastic Bag Manufacturing
Plastic bags are heat welded at high speed for sealing. For this application, PTFE-coated fabric or PTFE self-adhesive fabric will be needed, since WellFlon PTFE fabric can withstand high welding temperatures and offer a non-stick and easy-release surface. This means that the sealed bag can easily be released from the welding part. For this application, we are pleased to offer WellFlon tear-resistant fabric and adhesive tape.
